Last semester, our USC Freehand project met with Gen. David Petraeus to discuss its involvement in providing prostheses to children around the world. This semester, we're aiming to double our output and provide these lifechanging devices to children in five different countries, as well as here in our backyard in Los Angeles.
Last semester, the 3D4E USC Chapter hosted the first inter-chapter competition. USC, SDSU, and UCLA competed with their RC Car designs from each school. We're looking forward to our next showcase, stay tuned for announcements!
With the start of the 2015-2016 year, we're gearing up with a bunch of new projects. One of the most interesting ones is involves a printer redesign of our very first printer, the PrintrBot Simple. The team will be making big changes to make it more efficient!
